en I don't think you'll find the players in [the Carolina dressing room] saying that was their 'A' game. It wasn't pretty and it wasn't our typical style, but we found a way to get two points.

en At the end of last year when I found out I got third I set one of my main goals to win the award this year. I wasn't even expecting that last year and was cool about it because there was Cookie Miller and Adam Fletcher who were great players and averaged like 25 points per game.

en I thought it was a good event. I'm not displeased. I thought that we had a pretty decent crowd. Obviously it wasn't as large as South Carolina State. But hopefully the city of Columbia and the people of South Carolina will see that this is a very viable game, and they'll decide they will come out and support these young people. This is a very good game.

en This was a tough game. It wasn't pretty, but these girls just find a way to get it done. When the game is on the line they just dig deep and find a way to win and I love that about them.

en There wasn't a lot of grip and there wasn't much of a chance to go two-wide through there. Truex didn't give me any room and there wasn't much I could do to save the car.
