en Those governmental services being in Old Town helped give this place its lifeblood. One of the neat things about living here was being able to walk to the tax office to pay your taxes, or to city hall to pay your water bill.

en If they do fire (Hall), I think the fair thing to do would be to have Sean Elsbernd resign and have Newsom appoint Hall as the supervisor for District 7, ... And then try to convince Tony Hall to forgo the severance package.

en Occasionally you walk a couple of guys and it doesn't really get that bad, ... Once you walk three guys and hit a guy, you're probably not staying in there much longer.

en We got ourselves in some holes. Fortunately tonight we were able to dig ourselves out. I'm sure if you ask anybody around here, you're not going to expect to win too many ball games when you walk that many guys. But they pitched their hearts out and came through with the 'W' for us.

en I don't know what's going to happen with these guys down the road when they become eligible for the Hall of Fame, ... But I know a lot of Hall of Famers don't think what they did was right, and I'm one of them.
