en I intend to use all the players in my squad.

en We are working with a squad of about 19 to 20 players. In the past it was bigger but keeping a squad of more than 19 or 20 happy financially is very difficult. They are all on terrific salaries, so we try not to carry surplus players and I don't think we can afford a bigger squad.

en The difference was the size of the squad; we had a squad of around 18 players and if any were missing you had to switch players from different positions. That doesn't happen here now. The team I played in and this team were similar in some ways but we didn't sustain it.

en There have been a lot of changes and there were a lot of players I felt it was time to move on. There was a lot of discontent in the squad when I arrived and we had to start afresh. We need to work hard and stick together. When I came here I felt there was an unhealthy size of squad, if you get maybe a dozen players not playing games it's too many.

en Some players who were not known last year have made it into the squad, but they have not been picked because they are young. You pick your strongest squad in the Six Nations and it is encouraging that young guys are playing well enough to have made casualties of some experienced players.

en We know where the frailties within the squad are. It's all about being given the opportunity to try and improve the squad. Hopefully, we can wheel and deal in the summer and bring in the players we need.

en We have also been able to draw in a number of our very talented Academy players to the first team squad, and I feel the squad has a really good balance to it now.

en Two great attributes for a coach are: one, to be able to teach everybody on the squad, and two, to get players on the squad to play better than they are. Those things are very, very, very difficult to do, and very few in the league can do it.

en It gives me an opportunity to use all my squad. Keeping players happy is not easy and I think anyone with a big squad will tell you that.

en We had a lot of young players. I don't really think we were 100 percent confident going into it that we could go all the way. Everything was against us - the climate, it was a long journey, maybe the age of the squad and the experience in the squad wasn't ready.

en We've been very close as a squad during the last four days. All the players from the Euro 2004-winning squad, except for [Traianos] Dellas, are at my disposal. We have talked about the importance of the match against Kazakhstan and I can see how much they want to win.

en He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. I have been in the Championship twice before and got promoted and that is what I intend to do here. If I can hold most of this squad together I think we have got a really good chance.

en This is not an experimental squad and the players are picked on merit, but it is not necessarily the squad that will be picked for the (UEFA EURO 2008) qualifiers.

en What we need is competition for places. We are certainly trying to engender that. When we name the final squad you could find that yes there might be a few established players left out of the squad. We'll find that out over the next two or three weeks.

en That's what we would like to think. I do think our core players are in place. They're established, and they're young. I don't think this is our best squad that we'll have. I think next year will be a better squad than we had this year. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to make a stand for a long time.
