en I don't know if that plan was ever adopted by the city board or even passed on by the planning commission. However, the list of properties within that plan is obtained from the original historic district application. Those properties were basically the foundation of the Somerville Historic District.

en When we looked at all three of the properties the district owns, we found that the Hankins and soccer field properties were too small and not well positioned, and one of the properties required utility connections that would be another cost for us. But the main reason we chose the Washington Street site was because of its proximity to CSI (College of Southern Idaho).

en We don't have good numbers on this, but the information we do have is a lot of the activity is from buyers who buy one to two or more properties over the course of a year or two. The majority of these folks are actively in the market to buy investment properties as opposed to people buying a one-off home to rent. They are serious residential investors.

en If we can turn it around and start doing a better job of finishing then we can make some things happen with a big run in the district tournament.

en What is benefitted properties of the lake? Is it just those that are adjacent to the lake or, as in Rice Lake, is it the Lake District, the entire city and properties on the west side of Rice Lake? ... Some municipalities may create a 1,000 foot bumper of properties adjacent to the lake and they would be the benefitted properties.

en If the purpose was to simplify the process, why are we throwing up obstacles? ... Where I'm hearing this going is that we're making it harder ... for an overlay than for a conservation district.

en I think after a while, after we start missing the easy shots, I think we start pressing a little bit and trying to make up for the easy shots that we missed and we just continued to miss. At one point I remember looking at the clock when we had 33 points and I don't remember the next time we scored. Then, the same thing happened in the third quarter when we just could not make a shot.

en It was just one of those things, and I just never could get comfortable with the shot I had. I was either trying to hit it too hard or too easy. It's just tough to get it close, but I hung in there and just tried to stay positive. The good thing was I just struggled to make a par or bogey.

en We are hopeful we can get in the building soon. We've been working with the building management and our properties folks to make that happen as quickly as possible.

en Things came to us real easy in the first period. It is a little bit of human nature to let your foot off the gas a bit after a start like that. When a game is so easy at the start it is a hard game to play.
