en Since I live within two miles of that park, I was upset that it happened so close to home. But I was also happy that the kids handled it like they should have and that the kids knew what to do.

en For this area, we don't have much for green space. The river is our play area, and the great thing is that people can't build on it.

en The Park Service has been arrogant for a very, very long time. They are a cloistered, almost cult-like society. The Park Service doesn't believe it needs to listen to what Congress is telling them. They think, 'We know better how to define the law.' They have a whole history of using parks as a tool to lock up land.
