en I finished with a birdie, so I think I'll leave this place with a smile, ... This was the first time I played here in the morning. The greens were a lot smoother and in great shape. It's too bad I had only four holes (to play Monday).

en I played the remaining four holes nicely this morning and then started my second round well with two birdies on the second and third holes. My bogeys on nine and 10 were results of missing the greens due to miscalculation and over-aggression. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness.

en It's always nice to get out there on a fresh golf course, with fresh greens. The greens were perfect for all 18 holes, so it was a great day.

en Yesterday, I couldn't feel comfortable over the putter, I thought the greens were very bumpy. Today, I had a tee time about an hour and 15 minutes earlier. The conditions were a lot better, less people walking around on the greens. I think that was important for me because I started to roll in some putts and I felt a lot better.

I tried to be a little more patient and continue to hit good shots. Eventually, you're going to make a couple even if you don't putt well. That's what I did the last couple of holes.

en It's just got long holes, short holes, views, trees, dogleg rights, dogleg lefts, it's got a real versatile mix of holes. It's just a beautiful place.

en You can definitely make some birdies. The greens are little softer, so you can attack the holes a little bit.
