I got some very good champagne for the guys back in Denver when I went over 1,000 yards last year. But this was a lot different situation here because a 1,000-yard season hadn't been done in a while. I had to do more.

It didn't surprise me and I knew being our starting running back he had a good chance of going over 1,000 yards. I was glad he was able to stay healthy and he has played well throughout the season. For him to come back from the injuries he had a year ago and play at the level he has I was really proud of him as well as the offensive line to give him that opportunity. Mike Anderson is a warrior. If these guys couldn't play, they wouldn't be here. And I think that's what people forget. Everybody buys into the hype that comes out of the Cleveland media, and nobody here in Denver has truly sat back and evaluated the situation. If they did, they'd say it's a great thing Denver did.

I'd love to see it, sure. Frank is a good back. I thought last week was a great example of his ability to run the ball. He's one of those guys when he hits the line, it's like, 'Oh, I think it's a yard. No, no wait, he got two, three, no, he got four yards.

We have several guys who hope to play college football, but we know everyone can't be a 1,000-yard rusher or a 1,000-yard passer this year. We've dedicated ourselves to being a team and more of a family this year and not just individuals. We're focused on being unselfish.

We're working to get the power game back. We don't have [2004 senior] Elton Brown on this year's line. Then, we lose two more guys today. Now, before the year's over, we will be running it inside and gaining good yards. That is the best way to dominate another team, even though it's not the only way to win a game.
