It's not easy to come back [in the consolation bracket] after a narrow loss in the semifinals. That's one reason why Chris has been so successful. He never quits.

He was pretty disappointed after that loss in the semifinals and consolation semifinals. He knows he can do so much better. He needs to realize that there are a lot of tough kids up here with the same goal he has. Dustin had a great year.

We could've easily dropped back into the consolation bracket in the first round because we didn't know what Phoenix had until we got there.

When Chris shoots — he was shooting the last-second shot for a reason. It went off the top of the glass and I thought, 'Well, it's hopeless now because Chris missed it. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. ' Collin grabs it and puts it back in and it was like just shock for a second. Then, it was sheer craziness.

Someone is going to the finals who won?t belong there, and someone in the consolation bracket will have to wrestle a guy (McCoy) who is ranked No. 1 in the state.

Everyone left wrestled well tonight. All four (in the consolation bracket) have the chance to make it into the medal rounds.

Everyone will want to stay away from the top bracket. ... That doesn't mean the (Bowling Green) bracket will be easy, I just think everyone will want to stay away from (defending state champion) North College Hill as long as they can.

Chris has always been great at throwing low strikes to get those easy ground balls that we can field for those easy outs. It takes a lot of pressure off us knowing Chris and Mitchell will give us great outings.

On his side of the bracket, everybody's beatable for Chris (28-3).

Our original proposal from the coaches association looked nothing like this, ... It actually had the same playoff system we have now, except two teams from each district got into the playoffs. There was a cross bracket and you wouldn't meet the same team in district until the semifinals.

I feel Chris could be a successful Division I wrestler. I'm hoping college coaches will see what he did at Hershey and give him a chance. They can't go wrong with a good kid like Chris.

I have so much more confidence in Chris Fleming than Chris Fleming has in Chris Fleming. Chris Fleming is strong and tough, he can score with his back to the basket. Chris' career was outstanding here at the University of Maryland. He has contributed a great deal to our success the last 31/2 years. I'm fully confident Chris will be successful in life.

I opened it up a little more today. I love having a tough draw. There are a lot of ranked guys on my side of the bracket. A lot of people don't like that. I love it. The last two matches felt like finals. I lost in the semifinals the last two years. I wasn't going to be denied this time.

This was a disappointing loss, no question. We did not do enough things that make us successful. We did some things that look good, but we did not play the way we need to play to be successful. It was too much of a poke and go hockey game. Now we have to come back tomorrow and get back to our game.
