en Everyone left wrestled well tonight. All four (in the consolation bracket) have the chance to make it into the medal rounds.

en That kid he wrestled in the second round was good. Danny's confidence is high. He's beaten three of the eight people left in the championship bracket, and he pinned two of them. He has his work cut out for him, but he's capable of winning.

en Once you get into the medal rounds games, the prices jump. They're not available at any price for the gold medal round.

en I just got done placing the gold medal around John's neck. How exciting that was. I can't say enough about the way this kid wrestled here in Hershey. But that's the way he's wrestled all year.

en We couldn't get a first (-place finish) and that always hurts, but Kevin and Jon wrestled well up to the finals and they lost to some quality competition. Those kids are tough, though, and the good news is they'll be on the other side of the bracket when we get downstate. I thought Greg wrestled really well, but as a team in general, we were a little flat.

en We could've easily dropped back into the consolation bracket in the first round because we didn't know what Phoenix had until we got there.

en It's not easy to come back [in the consolation bracket] after a narrow loss in the semifinals. That's one reason why Chris has been so successful. He never quits.

en We wrestled great tonight. It meant a lot to the kids. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. It's been a strange year with the dual tournament. It's been a challenge keeping the kids focused. Weston is a really good team. They wrestled hard. I'm thrilled that we wrestled as well as we did.

en We had a chance to close out the conference and it's disappointing. It's all about the playoffs. We play these games, but you want to get all the rounds at home. That's why you battle. It's not over. There's still one game left.

en With all the team problems we had the bronze medal for the women was a superb consolation.

en We're in a good bracket with good teams like everybody else is. Say all you want about who's in a tough bracket, who's not? The bottom line is, starting this weekend everybody will get to a chance to prove whether they belong there or not.

en I've never played a consolation game in my life. We expected to be playing for a gold medal.

en Seeding is important. If you get a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, you make things much easier on yourself. That's really what you work for all season. At the same time, what bracket you're in a makes a difference, too. I'd rather be a No. 3 seed and get an easier bracket than a No. 1 seed with a tough bracket. But if they want to give us a No. 1 seed I won't argue.
