When somebody goes down you can't feel sorry for yourself. You need guys who can step and get it done and Jacob got it done for us today (Saturday).

All of those guys can score points for us. We may have a slight edge (on the other teams) on the guys side. It all depends on how well we step up on Saturday.

He had a couple of uncharacteristic shots. Jacob, I really thought he would be one of those guys that would go under par today and I think he's got a good chance of doing it tomorrow.

Our focus for Saturday is to be better than we are today. It is a step by step process, irrespective of our opponent or location of the game. What I really like about this team right now is that both our starters and bench are becoming more consistent in their strong play. If we continue making those gains and learning how to take control on game day we will be very happy with the end results. Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness.

Today was more of a mental day. We watched a lot of tape and talked about what happened [Saturday]. Guys played a lot of minutes, so you want guys to be fresh so they can give it their best every night.

I can tell you after the San Antonio game (Saturday). I know what happened (on the practice court) today; I don't know how it will end on Saturday. If it ends good, we can say today is a turning, bounce-back day. If not, it's just a normal day.

I think the key today was our pressure on their quarterback, we had a lot of young guys step up. We had some young guys come in today and play well. That's something we needed, and they responded.

I think we were a lot more focused today than we were last Saturday. We got a little bit of a reality check against Colgate and we had to bounce back. I think we responded well and took a step in the right direction in this game.

We had planned to stay home and ride out the storm, not really believing that it would hit us, ... Our guys have nothing to be ashamed of. Our guys competed really hard and played really well. We didn't win the game, but I want them to feel good about themselves. Saturday, we have another big game (Wake Forest) and the train is moving on.

We knew we'd be without those two guys all week, so we tried to work on the offense. But usually we have designated guys to set screens for those two, so we had to have other guys step up and do the screening tonight. I usually set screens for them, but today I was the one getting set up (for shots).

We've got everybody healthy and we used a lot of guys today. We've got 11 or 12 guys swinging the bats well right now but our pitching is going to have to carry us from here on out. But we feel like we're in good shape for conference and I feel like we're as good as anybody in the state right now.

Those guys got us some points I was not expecting with good performances today. Morris has been steadily improving every day, but he made a big step today to place in this meet.

We feel like both of these young men have a chance to be great, ... These guys need to jump out there and be ready to go on Saturday.
