On that fast break they look for each other to make that extra pass. They've been together for a long time, so it doesn't matter who scores. They don't really care. Whoever is there for that pass that leads to the bucket, gets it.

In all my years of coaching, I've never seen a team pass like this. They don't care who scores. Really. Everyone makes the extra pass.

In the first quarter, we made the extra pass. We break them down on the dribble, make the extra pass and get the wide-open shot. In the second quarter, we got a little flustered and weren't patient at all. We started shooting when we were contested and it was one shot and out.

They're quick and fast. They attack very aggressively, stretching the defense with the long pass, and their defensemen are very willing to join the rush, and if they don't pass they're willing to skate and attack and that leads to good defense.

If we make that extra pass, we'll find the 3-pointer and hit them. At times, we don't trust that extra pass. But you can say the same thing about 25 of the other 30 teams in the league.

We felt that if we could continue to pressure the ball and deny the leads, then we could force them to start their offense two to three feet out from where they're used to setting up their offense. I think we learned to trust each other more. A lot of times we weren't making that extra pass in the Rutgers game because people were trying to take it upon themselves to get things going. But now I think that we trust each other. We make that extra pass and somebody's going to make that shot and I think that's what's going to get us through the game. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive.

I have to stay on them and I have to keep them going because no matter who it is you know you have to go hard. I'd like to see them share the puck and make the extra pass. And, they're really trying.

These kids are just totally unselfish. They don't care to score and if you watch them when they make that pass and their teammate scores -- they've got a smile on their face. They're happy for their teammates.

It comes with practice. I just take the ball to the middle of the floor. Coach says to take it to the E in the Big East sign (in the lane) or I can make the extra pass. Coach says, 'Think score first and the pass will come.
