The only chance we had to see them was (Wednesday). They didn't shoot that well then. We really didn't expect them to shoot that well from the outside. But they did.

We really haven't shown how well we can shoot the ball. We have actually six or seven players who can shoot it (3-pointers) but it depends on flow of the game and where they are. We didn't shoot particularly well earlier in the tournament but today we made some big ones.

They just played a zone and we didn't shoot well from the outside. That was the difference in the game. We didn't shoot well and they made free throws (12-of-19) down the stretch.

I think we definitely should have came out and gotten this victory, but we didn't shoot a good percentage today and they stopped us with their zone. When you play like that, of course you're going to lose. You can't come out and shoot a poor percentage against anybody and expect to win the game.

All three times we played Christopher Newport, we got any shot we wanted. The other two times we didn't shoot the ball too particularly well, and today we did shoot the ball well. Playing on a big stage like this, at the Kohl Center, at the state tournament, I don't know if you ever expect to come out and shoot the ball like we did tonight.
