en I think we had a great season. We won a third straight league title and we had a good record against a schedule that was as difficult as any we've ever had. And we played with an X across our chest. We were the big game on everyone's schedule.

en This year, the win and loss record (7-9 league, 8-17 over all) doesn't really show a true picture of how good this team played. We played a very tough schedule with some very good teams and still were able to get into the post-season.

en Katie Ferris [who had 26 points] played her best game of the year. Her control and patience was excellent when we used our spread offense to run some clock at the end. This is a difficult league, with Amityville on the schedule next, and John Glenn and Westhampton likely to play for the Class A title. We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

en We're motivated just on the schedule we have: having a tough schedule and wanting to prove to people that no matter if we have a tough schedule or not, we're a good football team, and we're going to win games. I share the record with Lenny now, and I'm not a greedy person. If we can win the game and I don't get a touchdown, I'll be fine with that.

en I think they're a good team. Our schedule is a straight OCC non-conference schedule, and I don't anticipate any of those three games being an easy game. We're just going to try to control the clock as best as we can.

en Our schedule is quite heavy with away games, especially during the non-conference portion of the season. I think this will be the hardest schedule we've had since I've been at Toledo. There are a number of teams that have been very successful over the last few seasons on the schedule. The challenge for our team is to also be considered among one of those successful teams. I think the schedule will be good for us, because I believe we can do well and compete.

en The fact that we've played such a tough schedule means that the game won't speed up on Friday night for us. We've played a good schedule so far, faced lots of good pitching and lots of good teams.

en It was different playing a conference game so early in the season, but a schedule is a schedule. I really liked our balance tonight. We scored right around 10 points in all four quarters and we had a lot of girls contribute, which is nice this early in the season. Our team defense was good, too.

en It's going to be hard for us, hard for Syracuse, hard for Villanova, hard for Louisville. Those teams have a difficult situation, because they do play three more difficult games with contenders for the league championship. With that said, that's the schedule. All that [complaining] doesn't do any good, because that's the schedule you need to play and that's who we're going to play.

en Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. It's as difficult a non-conference schedule as we've had since I've been here. As we continue to elevate the status of our program, we need to elevate the quality of our schedule. We feel confident that our team will embrace the difficult schedule and hopefully respond to the challenge.

en They're (Wake Forest) going to have a terrific year, and obviously this is a great confidence builder for our program. We were facing four straight road games. Dayton , Wake, we're at Old Dominion Saturday, and we have to go to California next week. We really have played a difficult schedule and been in a lot of close games. We've taken everybody's best shot, sometimes for good, sometimes for bad. Our kids have toughened up and are starting to learn how to play together.

en Our schedule is very challenging. The early portion of the schedule will help us to identify our strengths and weaknesses and better prepare for – the most important part of our season – the conference schedule. Obviously, we want to become as successful as possible. We also want to improve and develop as much as possible as we go along.

en Every game is a game unto itself. Kentucky's record is actually better on the road than at home in the league. We know it is going to be a difficult game. It was a difficult game last time. Both teams fought hard and played good defense and had trouble scoring. We were fortunate a couple things did go our way at the end, but I doubt if that will matter Saturday.

en Brown is solid team, and they have played a very tough schedule this year. They are much better than their win loss record would indicate, and we expect a good competitive game from them.

en I hope we can have another good year with the players we have back, but we're going to have a difficult schedule. We are going to schedule a lot more teams throughout the state and play in more tournaments.
