en I wasn't afforded the opportunity to return to school. I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. I want to finish school, but I don't trust these people. Are they really going to open again in March?

en San Luis is a great high school, but if a kid can finish at a regular high school, they should. I'm not attacking San Luis, but it's a continuation high school. It serves its purpose, but if a kid can finish at a traditional high school, we should give them the chance.

en I have a special emergency wish that I hope can come true. You guys are my last hope. My wish is to keep my school open until I graduate eighth grade ... the Archdiocese plans to close my school. I know they don't want to, but they think it would be best for them, but they just don't understand that my school is my second home and all the people there are my family.

en The facilities are being reviewed and apparently there are a lot of improvements needed. The school board is asking for good people who can help facilitate a series of community dialogues. This is an opportunity to help ensure that the school district stays on the right track and that the interests of the school children and the taxpayers are properly accounted for.

Where two sets of people ---- one of which is becoming adults and one of which is trying to avoid going back to becoming children ---- clash.
