en I'm very proud of our guys. The conditions were not ideal today, it was very windy. Some of our guys were able to take care of business and some struggled. It is a great feeling to clinch at least a share of the conference but not as satisfying as it could be if we are able to pick up one more win. We have a tough match on Sunday though, I'm sure Ole Miss will have a good crowd and their players will be fired up. I really want to see our guys come out and be aggressive. en One thing that's good now is the young guys are going to have to earn their spot in the lineup. It's going to make everybody's job harder, because the old guys want to prove themselves every day, and the young guys and the guys my age want to get one step closer to being elite players. That's a good mix.

en We knocked down our free throws the fourth quarter and still took it to the basket. We weren't tentative, and that's really a good step for a young team. We know that almost all our scoring has to come from guys who haven't played much. Our seniors are role players, they don't score much.

en I feel pretty good if we just go play hard and compete. They're beatable. But we'll need some players to step up. Our seniors will have to lead us.

en We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

en Most seniors always step up somehow. Those guys are kind of unsung heroes. [Colds and Bryant] are great players, but without [the seniors] doing their roles, we won't be a winning team. We got 19 wins but it's not [all] because of those two guys.

en When you are dealing with young men, period, you're going to make mistakes and you're going to have guys get injured. Our job as seniors and as coaches is to prepare the young guys that we have to step up. I think we have the athletes to get it done.

en I think the seniors will be key this year and they have to step up and be leaders. Most of our young guys are followers and they are good team guys. If the first practice was any indication, this team is going to have great chemistry. And liking each other can go a long way.

en The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

en I think our guys see that they can compete here. That's a big step for a young ball club. Our guys are learning and we're getting better with each game.

en I think out of the four (titles), this is most satisfying. We lost 14 seniors and were pegged as a team that couldn't compete for the title.

en When I step away from the game, our game is in good hands. We have some good, young talented players, everyday guys, and definitely pitchers. He's right there at the top of the list. You feel you pass the baton along to the next generation of guys. I think the fans out here will enjoy this kid for a long time.

en I told my seniors that if they want to win a region title they need to step up and show the young guys how to do it.

en We'd been trying to build up for a long time. In the past, we had a lot of really good players come in, but we were young. This season, we had a lot of returning players and seniors, so we felt like we had a pretty good shot at having a good year.
