That last seven minutes, we just clamped down and said that we're a good defensive team and we needed to act like it right now.

It's not exactly that we were trying to hold the ball for three minutes.

en The first half was probably our best executed of the season. We did a great job defensively and worked the ball inside and out. I was really proud of our play. The first six minutes of the second half was just a killer for us. We were not remotely close to the same team in the first half. Bowling Green is a great team, but we really beat ourselves tonight.

en We executed well on both sides of the ball and controlled the line of scrimmage. Although we made a few mental mistakes in the second half, we were very pleased with the teams effort as a whole.

en We played really well in the second half, except for those last few minutes. It started with the last four minutes of the first half, when we started getting hands on balls and turned defense into offense.
