en Our training is very limited as we do not have an indoor or outdoor track facility. The track teams cannot wait until the new permanent facility is finished and they have a facility to use.

en It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. It's pretty wide and very smooth, and there are lots of places to pass. There are probably 10 good passing spots on this track. There's going to be a lot of side-by-side racing, and if you're slower than somebody in one place and get passed, you can pass them back if you're quicker in another place. You can get lost here more than at other tracks. It's definitely a fun race track.

en It's a great facility. This track is very difficult, but it's all about practice. We're slowly figuring it out. I think we are going to have a pretty busy race with nine hours, all the cars and all the corners. I really like this track. It's a lot of work, but I like the fast corners. You need to be so precise.

en Getting a handle on the tune-up is really important to us as we head into the heart of the season. Bristol is a great facility for us to show everybody how serious we are about being a contender. We're expecting great qualifying rounds, especially on Friday night when the track cools down. Sunday, we'll be ready for them, I promise.

en If (track) were a car, it would be a Ferrari. If it were a painting, it would be a Mona Lisa. You could conduct and host the Olympic Games Track and Field portion on this facility.

en That, coupled with the marketplace, Los Angeles has a great history in track and field with the Olympic Games and storied track clubs. There's still a very large active track base here.

en I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track ? it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time ? but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain.

en We're on a great roll here with another 1.5-mile track coming up. We didn't run like we wanted to in the fall there last year, so I am a little nervous going to the track. en Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

en We knew going into last year's event we were fortunate to have a race at such a beautiful facility. We always want the Hooters Pro Cup Series races to bring a benefit to the track operators, competitors, fans and especially the community. We feel like we accomplished that in Cook County.

en It took me weeks to finish my part on the song. The track has been around for a minute. It used to be, like, a rock track — Dre flipped the track to make it more Dirty South.
