We can't continue the way we're going. We're not moving the ball too good in the second half. We've got to go in and see what adjustments we can make to get this back on the right track, because this don't look too good right now.

N.C. State is a team that seems as though they make adjustments to what they need to do to win a particular game. They do a good job of moving the ball and taking advantage of any defensive mistakes [that opponents] make.

What really hurt us was Wessel in the first half. He normally doesn't score like that, then we had to make adjustments to him in the second half, and then they were able to get the ball back inside to (Robbie) Brewer.

The bottom line was that we responded. SPASH made some good adjustments in the second half and were knocking us off the ball, and we got tough-minded about it at the end and were able to take back control.

It was a tough ballgame. In the first half, they beat us on the boards. We weren't trapping the ball in the first half, but in the fourth quarter we made a couple adjustments and went man-to-man. Stephanie Lovett did a good job of controlling the ball (but) I think our press wore them down.

Lakeside had some tough adjustments to make, losing probably their best player. I thought in the second half they did a great job making some adjustments and probably figuring out a few things they can do and what they'll probably continue to do without him.

Loudoun County came out with a lot of energy in the second half. We didn't do a very good job of handling their full-court pressure, and we didn't make good decisions with the ball. We had a really good first half, but the ball just stopped going in.

I am happy with the effort and with the result, but not with the execution. We made more than our share of mistakes. We challenged the guys to come out and play well on the heels of last week's win and they did. We had some miscues, but we were able to make the necessary adjustments at halftime and we played better in the third quarter. That is the good thing about this team, we have a lot of veteran players who can come back to the sideline and tell us what is going on out there so we can make the proper adjustments. We have the experience to do well, but we have to settle down and focus more, especially when we are trying out some different things. It was a good effort.

Not good goals, obviously a ball turned over early in the first half and Ryan Pore was able to get Jeff on the wrong foot and Tony was cheating a little bit, thinking that the ball was coming across and he got caught. He's making a couple of mechanical adjustments to make sure he can maintain a good delivery, which will give him a good chance to make better pitches more often. But he's getting movement on the ball and tremendous explosion on the fastball.

I feel very confident that we have people that can come in and fill in. I don't have any problem with the whole situation. I think we'll be as competitive as we can be and I look forward to a good series. Good teams make adjustments and we're going to find out this weekend if we're that kind of team that can make adjustments irrespective of some of the things that we have to do.

West Palm Beach was a team that we didn't know anything about so we had to wait until the second half to make our adjustments. We came back and made adjustments and that is what football is all about.

I thought we played brilliantly in the first half. We did a very good job of moving the ball around. It was a good game. We needed it.

We played really well today. We were very unselfish and passed the ball well. They shot more than 50 percent from the floor in the first half and I explained to them that we needed to do a better job of contesting shots. In the second half, we made the necessary adjustments and it really feels good to get this first one on the road.
