Brent told us he was going to dominate (Saturday), and he obviously brought his game face. He was an absolute stud (Saturday). That's the best game I've ever seen him pitch. After what we went through (Friday) night, that was big.

[Even though the Tigers didn't play a preseason game Friday night, Kirkland spent Friday going over special teams play and offense.
