This is our busy season - the first of October to the end of January. We're really focused on keeping the business up and running, and making sure that we don't lose a call.

I'd have to tell you the accounting firms are busy. They're so busy keeping up with the growth of their business and recruiting professionals into their ranks that it's hard to recruit them into business organizations.

We're kind of fastening our seat belts for January. Like all health club facilities, we will be busy in January. We're looking forward to a really busy January.

When a crisis is unfolding, you don't think of it as competing for time and resources. Everyone needs to stretch--keeping focused on running the business and doing what needs to be done in the face of intense need. You have to do more.

I'm just happy. Having a child in October and after our season ended early in January, this was a nice opportunity to keep the season going.

There is something going on constantly. Our season starts on Sept. 1 with upland game and dove hunting. Then, on the first of October, the archery deer season begins, which runs through middle of November. After that, we still have the upland game season going until the end of April. So, some days get pretty busy.

Even making a phone call involved booking it ahead. It was a trunk call and at busy times, such as Christmas, you had to book three weeks in advance.

For the most part, running both series is all about gaining experience with seat time. I still have a lot to learn, and I believe running in both series will help shorten the learning curve and keep me focused. It's going to be an extremely busy year, but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

I've been keeping up with everything, ... I can multitask. You have to, or you lose ground. I've been busy communicating with clubs and player agents.

A lot of these people are really busy ... April through October. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. It's kind of a start to the season, let's get excited about this. Living history is a passion.

The creation of a BDC should result in more business for Thrifty Car Sales dealers and happier customers. Our dealers were telling us they had a need for greater traffic flow to their locations, and the business development center is designed to do just that. This is a red-hot concept in the car sales industry right now. Lots of new car dealers with multiple brands are moving to a call/business development center strategy. It takes incoming calls off the showroom floor and channels them to dedicated professionals solely focused on making appointments. We were able to leverage the assets of our worldwide car rental reservation center to deliver an extremely cost-effective, state-of-the art, full-service call center for our dealers.

I'm not really focused quarter-to-quarter. I'm really focused on the secular trends. And I'm encouraged that the AOL subscription business looks like it's holding together, and they're keeping their market share.

Business people invest a lot of time in prospecting early in the sales or business cycle and then nothing happens. At that point call and ask the potential client what's happened. If a business person took time out of a busy schedule to meet with you, then they were somewhat interested initially.

If there's to be a call-to-action by Congress, from a technology standpoint, it should be focused on making sure detection technology being used overseas is up to the task. This would make global trade much more secure than blocking a business transaction here in the U.S.
