en I took this job because I was confident in my own ability and knowledge of pitching to do it. I would never have left home to take a minor-league job, but I also didn't want to get too old and one day say I never tried it.

en Baseball America and lot of other pundits who look at minor league systems right now think the Giants have one the strongest minor league systems in all of minor league baseball. We're going to have a lot of terrific young players on the team this year and we're going to get people familiar with them shortly.
