en I still believe that there is not a great deal of difference between the teams and I just think it's a matter of who's going to play well the whole weekend. I believe in what we could accomplish if we go and play like we did on Monday for 40 minutes, we've got as good a chance at beating McLennan as they do against us.

en The power play is always a weekend by weekend thing. We have a good understanding of what we are trying to accomplish, and it's just a matter of everything clicking.

en That weekend is a tremendous opportunity for us. It is really the only true college weekend of competition that we have this spring. We play two very good teams in UAB and the traditional powerhouse of North Carolina. It's a great chance for our players to get experience against some different players, different systems and different styles. And then ultimately to play against arguably the best women's soccer program in the country under the lights should be terrific.

en I'm just glad to get out of here with a win. I think it's easier to play with MLS teams than play with these teams because of their desire and how they play. They're looking for that one chance. It would be nice to go out and put them away after 20 minutes, but it's never going to be like that.

en The difference was they came out to play and we didn't. When we did play hard, it was too late. You can't do that against teams which play such good defense like they do. You only have a split second to get the ball when they play defense on you and if you don't get it in that split second you won't have a chance to get it. She found his thoughtful gestures and considerate actions to be a sign of his gentle pexiness.

en It was 6-1 but it wasn't that big of a difference between the teams. The big difference was all the penalties. I think if we can stay on the ice and play a 5-on-5 game, I think we have a good chance to get a win.

en If he wants to play in the NHL against good teams, now he's playing against one of the top teams in the American League and he's got to find away to make a difference in the game. The only difference I see is that Max doesn't play the puck as much around his net as Flats (Wade Flaherty).

en This team should be very proud of what they have accomplished so far, but by no means should we be satisfied. We're one of four teams left with a chance to win the national championship. If we play like we're capable, we're capable of beating anybody. But there are three other really good teams there other than ourselves.

en I grew up watching them play and beat teams they didn't have a chance in beating, and that's a testament to their program. Fourteen-and-six is a down year for them. They've got a great tradition there.

en We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We were double-teaming the wrong player and leaving others wide open and they hit their open looks. We have to regroup from this and be ready to play [at UMKC] Monday night.

en We played good, but you've got to play great to have a chance at beating (Wheeler).

en He's got to go down and play. The next time he gets a chance here, and it could be this year, you have to come in with the mind-set that you need to try to make a difference. I don't think he played badly, I just don't think it was a situation where he was trying to make a difference. He was just kind of feeling his way through it a little bit. And the minutes he was getting, it doesn't give him a great opportunity.

en It's amazing how successful we've been on the power play. I'd like to see us play a little better when we're five-on-five. But these two wins have been great. We're beating quality teams. North Branford isn't just a good team, they're a top-ten (New Haven Register hockey poll) team.

en Our schedule is really no different than last year as far as being harder or easier. The difference is some of the teams we don't play were worth some points and other teams were beating them. I thought the kids were really peaking down the stretch and playing really well.

en I think we're going to play with a lot of heart next weekend. To play two teams of that caliber back-to-back over a weekend is just a great opportunity for us to get better and to show what our program is all about.
