en I do appreciate it when I play a good round like this, maybe even a little more. I'm glad to be back playing well. I'm glad to be healthy. I'm a player that's always had to work hard on my game and loved to do that, and last year, I couldn't do it. I've always appreciated good rounds, but maybe a little bit more (now).

en T.J. was crazy for the blues. We were in a band together back in the eighth grade, and T.J. would listen to Jimmy Reed almost nonstop. He got his drum style from that old country blues and then later applied it to Western swing.

en Pops is extremely athletic and a special player. He's another added mature player who makes our offense flow a lot better. And he's a presence inside on defense. So we're glad to have him back.

en People say this isn't a blues festival. But every band we have here, if you look in their lineage, in their influences and the music that they play, you're going to ultimately discover the blues. All our great rock 'n' roll is based in the blues.

en I think the blues is fine for blues players, but free blues has never made much sense to me.

en I try not to put it in a box, ... Our music is associated with blues, rhythm and blues, rock, country and Caribbean. Everyone is writing. No one is holding back. It's Robert Cray music.

en He hasn't really complained. We're glad to have him back. He's been a four-year starter for us, so any time you can get a player like that back, it's good.

en Jeff is a valuable player and we?re glad to have him back. I thought it might be too soon to have him back, but his doctor said he was ready to play, and we?re happy to have him.

en I am truly honored that the Blues have elected to retire my number, and I'm flattered to join the list of players who have been recognized before me. I will always consider myself part of the Blues family and will look back on my playing days here with fond memories of my teammates, my coaches, the staff and, last but not least, the fans.
