I've never driven so ordtak

en I've never driven so conscious since this race a year ago, ... We have 10 races to prove ourselves if we're a championship team.

en I have to prove I'm worthy of selection for the big races next year, ... To do that I will have to prove myself in the time trial and the road race at the Oceania Championships.

en Our points system has never been about winning races. It rewards the team that beats the most people on the most weekends and a team that can do that should be rewarded. In my championship year [2003], I only won one race. I don't think people saw that as being wrong or terrible.

en [This week: Wallace has scored 24 top-15 finishes, more than any other driver, in 31 races this season. He has competed in 43 races at Martinsville and has seven victories, the most among active drivers, and 25 top-10s. His last victory there came in April 2004.] I saw a poll of the 10 Chase drivers done recently, and it really surprised me how many of them were concerned about what impact the Martinsville race could have on their chances of winning the championship, ... Man, that's certainly not the case with me and my team. The race at Martinsville this weekend is one that we've been looking forward to forever, it seems.

en Unfortunately, we had a difficult day with the Panasonic car. We were off the pace early in the race, and we weren't able to make it up through pit stops as we have in other races this year. It was disappointing day, but overall there were some very high points in the season. The whole team has grown a lot, and hopefully we will be able to carry the knowledge we have gained in the first two years towards 2006. Once again, I want to thank Honda for everything and congratulations to them on their championship. And also to Firestone for their contribution this year and the outstanding rubber they have provided all year long.

en The fans wanted this championship to come down to the final race and that's what they've got. I would much rather sew up the title early and I've been lucky enough to do that a number of times in my career, but I'll go out there in the last two races and do the best I can to win it this way. The fact that the championship would come down to the final race is something I've said all season. There's just too much talent in the series for anything else to happen.

en Lauren had her best race. She has improved every race this year. She is becoming so comfortable with the races. She is a very quiet girl, but very competitive. I have been so impressed with the impact she has had on the team.

en If you are solidly in the top 10, it will be business as usual, ... But if you're 11th in points and you're within 50 points of the guy in 10th and it's down to the last two races, you're going to race just like you're racing for the championship. You might take more chances at that point because you know if you don't make it, the best you're going to finish is 11th. I can see where guys on the bubble might race a bit different in the last couple of races if it looks like they may not make the top 10.

en I don't see any future at Ferrari for me. To be honest, I've never really been interested in that team at all. I want to race for a team that can win races, and that is Renault this year, but McLaren next year.

en One thing I like about this team this year is they seem to work a lot harder than last year's team, and they all feel they have something to prove. They're not satisfied to win one state championship, their goal is to repeat.

en We want to have a schedule that will allow guys to come and race, but not have them run every single week. Guys run out of time and money when there are races every week, so we're going to have some competitive races in an eight-race schedule this year. The ultimate goal for 2007 is to have as many as 14 races.

en It is going to be a nice race for both teams, I think. Last year our car was pretty quick there and I quite like the circuit, so for sure we will try to win the race and hopefully we can win the championship, too, for the team,

en My championship aspirations are the same as they've been every year. Our goal is to win races. I think that our team, we have the ability (and) we have the speed, we just need to cut out the mistakes and some of the bad luck ... This year we're going to be a factor.

en It's great to be a contender for the championship even if I only have a slim chance, ... The team believed in me from the start and so did PacifiCare so I am glad to give them all the podiums so far and especially the win in Montreal and put them in the position of fighting for another 1-2 finish in the championship. There are two races left and two opportunities to win and were going to try our best to do this. Bruno brought PacifiCare wins in Montreal and Australia last year and it would be nice if I could do that for them again this year.

en She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. We are already planning for next year, and we recognize that we need to make several changes to regain the momentum this team had earlier in the year and to ensure we have the right people in the right places to win races and a championship.
