We had a really young group there and we had to lean on them and said, 'You're freshmen but you can't play like one because we need you.' That's very similar to what we're doing here. It gives me a lot of hope because that group went on after we were gone and competed very well at the Horizon League level.

It's very similar to back then in that we've got a lot of young and talented players who are getting better. I have to say this team is a little bit of a surprise to me right now. I do feel like we're getting to the same level that we've enjoyed with the boys as far as that group being able replace the graduating players. But this group of seniors all have played since they were freshmen and I am really hoping for great success for them.
