en We've just gone to two places and got beat pretty badly. We go back home, the last time we were at home we played a great game. We're one game away from a regular-season winning season, and that's something we haven't done (since 2002). We get the opportunity to do that Saturday.

en I told the kids that the first half was the best we've played so far (this season). It is hard, in games like this, to keep that momentum. We came out focused and got some rolls that we haven't had in the past, especially in the first quarter.

en The last time we played South Hamilton, we beat them, 60-28, and I think our kids felt they could maybe just show up tonight and beat them. Hopefully, they learned a valuable lesson.

en The first half of the season hasn't been the way we wanted it because we haven't beat the best teams. We've got to get it to that level where we can beat them.

en During the past two seasons, we've learned from our mistakes. We're working to pay our past debts and to pay off the construction debt. We're determined that we're going to cure this thing and go on with the summer season that we've been planning.

en It's not, ?If beat Indy we can beat anybody. We know what type of game we're going to get -- we've got to be ready. Denver presents a different challenge because we haven't played them this year.

en I know I will be disappointed if I don't reach my goal, at least initially. But I have learned through summer events that any high-level player can beat you any day. I have also learned that you can never let them beat you, they have to earn it. I know I won't hand it to them.

en Just when you think you've seen everything, you haven't. I've learned that during this season.

en This past weekend we didn't play well and we haven't been playing our best. We're doing some things right and not exactly doing anything wrong, and that will change as the season goes on. Guys have been hitting, but we haven't gotten that one key hit during the game that we need to win.
