en I think that sparked something for us. We had been doing it all year, hitting hard, playing tough, playing physical, but I think being on that big Monday Night Football stage and playing a physical team like the Steelers made people notice.

en I think the goal is to make sure that athletes, when they get out in the field, they're in good physical shape and in regular touch with their doctors. Kids grow so fast at that age in two years that it's good to have up-to-date information on those athletes.

en I'm a good athlete, ... Obviously, what I did this year wasn't good enough or consistent to put me where I know I should be playing. And there's more to games than just hitting. I didn't do good this year, but I can do more than just hit. A lot of people, if they can't hit, they're no good. It's a big part but I can help this team with more than just with my bat. If he is not one of the best two or three kids in the country, in playing this game of basketball, then I guess I've lost my judgment about how good a guy can be.

be a great kick-off to the 2005 season.

en We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.

en Playing a playoff, it would be hard to do at this level. People are going to leave it all out there on the field, and it's such a physical game. It's such a physical sport. It would be hard to keep everyone healthy and available if you made it all the way to the national championship game.

en I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

en I didn't think we'd shut them out, but I thought we could contain them if we played physical inside -- and we did. Coach (Toby) Tabor had the defense ready to go. We have a lot of good athletes out there, and we've got good athletes on the sidelines, too. Our depth is one of our strong points.

en The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.
