I grew up hitting the ball straight, ... Things changed, and that might be part of my problem.

The greens are pretty soft. With no wind, if you're hitting it straight you have a lot of short irons and wedges. You can definitely score if you're hitting the ball well.

Alex was on and when Alex is on, that's as good as it gets. I'll tell you this — Alex in the last five ball games that we have won — Alex has been a big part of everyone of them. I have no problem. We have great doctors. I have no problem sitting in for a few minutes while they do whatever they need to do. Guys go through it. It's part of the game. I would certainly like a straight nose.

These guys grew up hitting it hard and wanting to hit it hard. You can always learn to temper it. It's hard to go the other way, learning to hit it straight first.

Keep your head up because it is coming along. Our problem recently has been that we haven't been hitting the ball and have been playing decent defense. If somebody has too much loft or has too much spin on the ball, then we need to put them with another driver. With too much spin, the ball is going up and then it's like hitting a brick wall. It's just going to drop straight down. They're robbing themselves of distance.

I remember it as a narrow course, where you had to hit the ball straight. It was a 'position' course, like those a lot of us old guys grew up on. That's the way I was brought up, learning to hit the ball to Point A before you can hit it to Point B. These days, it's just crunch-crunch.

I feel like I'm a little bit restricted, especially with the serve. I feel like I'm just using my arm out there. I feel like I'm not really doing too much with my movement. But overall I feel like I'm hitting the ball well. I'm hitting the ball clean, I'm seeing the ball well. That's why it's even more frustrating because just imagine if I would be feeling fine. It would be a great feeling to have, just playing well and not having too many other things going on.

He's hitting the ball better than anybody in this camp. We are thrilled to have him here. He's slugging the ball and doing great things in the middle of the infield, but I've seen him do those things a million times.
