en If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.

en It wasn't our night tonight. The pucks didn't bounce our way. We need to play better at this time of year and we just aren't doing it.

en We've had trouble scoring goals all season, and to be able to get five against a great team like Saskatoon is really a big confidence booster for us. We just kept it simple on Saturday. en I think he would tell you he wasn't very happy with the way he played overall last year. He's worked hard in individual workouts, and I know he has some big goals for this season.

en Part of what we're trying to do is get pucks to the net and outwork teams along the boards, something we'd like to build on. But now pucks are just going to the net. Some of the time when we're getting a lot of those chances we're trying to get second and third opportunities. It's really just getting the bounces.

en I've let in a lot of weird goals, ... Fluky ones, whatever you want to call it, but they're ones I don't normally let in. There are a lot more shots coming at the net and guys are just shooting it at the net because they have more time and pucks are going in off legs and feet and shoulders and heads, so you might have to play out a little further on the shot and hope it hits you.

en When we set those goals, we knew they were high goals but they were realistic. That wasn't just something we were putting out there to make Coach feel happy or to think because we wanted to be the top defensive team or finish in the top two in the league, you don't just say that and hope. We knew we had to go out there and play.

en I transferred because of some family situations that have taken place. I also wasn't too happy up there (in Mississippi). It had nothing to do with playing time, but I just wasn't happy.

en Last year she wasn't really prepared, so I look at this time as the first and last time to race against Kobayashi. I'm disappointed, but I'm also happy.

en Having all those freshmen at one time, I knew before the year even started that somebody was going to leave. I didn't know who it would be, but somebody wasn't going to be happy with playing time.

en I wasn't really happy with the way we performed at all. I was upset with the pressure I was given going into the last match (against East Moline United0. I knew I could do it, but it's just a lot of pressure. We could've wrestled a lot better, but we did do a lot this season. We could've done a lot more, but we're just setting goals for ourselves (for next year). This was an amazing opportunity for our team to have.

en This time of year, they have to want it. My job is pretty much done....(Having my head shaved) was just a one time thing to motivate them. My wife (Veronica) wasn't too happy about it.
