In a way, we're trying to reinvent ourselves to become a better team .... On offense, we have a lot of exciting things happening. The fact that we've scored as many points as we have in the last two games speaks for itself. I like the fact that we continue to get to the foul line and are making a high percentage.

Defensively, we were disruptive also. Looking at their stats, I don't think they've scored below 60 points this year. In fact, I think they only scored below 80 once. So to hold their basketball team to under 60 points tonight was great. We forced them into long shots and long turnovers, and we got run outs.

I think it's entertaining, the fact that I've been able to score points. The important thing is that I've been able to do it and we've been able to win. That's why I do it — to help ensure victories. It's only on an as-needed basis. There have been games this year, where I've scored 11 points and we've won.

Any time you just put up 40 points, you're concerned with your offense. But a lot of that was the fact that Odessa High is athletic and rangy and long. They caused most of our problems on offense. It's not like we just melted down.

My thing with Duke is they are a high percentage team, so I'm real pleased with the fact that we held them to 41 percent shooting. But J.J. is a great player and when the game is on the line your players have to make plays. He knew he was going to try to make a play and he did.

But when you're playing a high-powered offensive team like the Rams, obviously you go into that game feeling like you have to score some points.

I'm able to shoot such a high percentage because of the offense that we run as a team. Coach Morrill's offense and the screens and stuff my teammates set for me all help me get my shooting percentage up.

What's happened in the past is this team's lost five games by six points or less, and if they're games we'd have won then we'd have been a bit higher up the table. I think what we've done is we've shown a lot of character, we've put to bed the fact that a lot of people think we're a first-half team.

The president when he speaks, speaks in a very inclusive way, very respectful ... of the fact that we are a nation whose great strengths come from the fact that we have people of so many faiths and people who have chosen not to have any particular religious affiliation.

People had themselves worked into state of expectation that the Fed was going you go 75 basis points and maybe even 100 and the fact that they only went 50 points (one-half percentage point) has obviously not been well received.

No one can argue with the fact that Joe and his offense are 6-0 right now. Sure, we want to be better offensively and we want to complete more passes, but the fact that we're 6-0 says a lot about him and the entire football team.

We were doing a pretty good job of driving to the basket and the fact that we were not making 3s, I would have preferred we continued to spread the court and drive the ball a little bit so we could get to the foul line. Doug didn't put points up immediately when he came. He played fine. He didn't play at the level he was capable of, but he factored in some games. He scored a shootout goal to help us win in Boston.
