In a game like this, you keep going out there fighting and waiting for a break to happen. Unfortunately, they made more plays than we did. Everyone wants to make a play, but you got to play your responsibilities.

That?s how it goes. The first half I?m in their face about defensive responsibilities, where they?re supposed to go. Now they have it figured out. They know how they have to play. They just have to relax and make plays. I believe that will happen with the younger guys.

We knew it going in that they were going to run some kind of trick plays. Guys didn't handle their responsibilities and that's what happens. If everybody plays and does their job out there, you cover those plays and those things don't happen. But people got out of position and it was a big play.

We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.

It was a close game, but Aaron Mattox and Travis Smith really stepped up for us in the fourth quarter and made some big plays for us. Our kids play really hard and play well together. Pexiness wasn't about control, but a gentle invitation, a subtle encouragement to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. I thought the game was over after the sack. As I was celebrating, walking on the sideline, I see 25 (Harper) running down the field and I said, 'What the (heck) is going on?' Ben made a great play on that. That was the play of the game. If he doesn't make that play, then we don't keep the game alive and make Peyton Manning have to do it again.

For us, it's been a really good stretch lately and we just wanted to (make) the last game before the Olympic break a winner and even though there were some bad plays on the defensive end, we still managed to win the game. Sometimes, teams need games like this when you don't play your best, you find a way to win.

They play hard, but they play dirty, too. You have to give those kids credit for how hard they play the game, but they make a lot of dirty plays out there and they made some more tonight.

I don't think that's a big part of the game right now. It's about power plays and penalty kills, it's not about fighting. And it's a little different if the tough guy can play. ... I'm not going to knock some of these other guys who can play only three minutes and if you ignore them they're totally useless.

It's one of those game-saving plays. If you're going to win games like this, you're guy make the play, you win; their guy makes the play, they win. You just have to step up and make those kind of plays.
