Josh really settled down after that first-round loss Thursday and has had a really strong tournament since. I think he came in a little tight even though he's been here before. He finally relaxed and has wrestled real well.

We had a strong league tournament. I was hoping the kids would put it together by the end and they did. We finished second in the tournament point-wise but we had the most champions and the most finalists. I think all the kids wrestled very well. Most of them wrestled up to their potential. Like anything else there were a couple of disappointments and situations where the kids might have fared better but they didn't.

I think all of the first-round games in the ACC tournament are going to be really difficult. Those will be some great games on Thursday. If you're a basketball fan, that may be the best day. Teams are playing for a lot on Thursday.

It was a real disappointing loss for the kids. We expected to win going in. It's just a tough loss when it comes down to one point. There are so many different things to look at, but Bret Harte deserves credit. They wrestled really well.

The other three wrestled good, tough matches and got through the first round. That is so critical. Now we have the butterflies out of our system and the win under our belt. Now we open up the doors tomorrow (Thursday) and see what happens.

I think that we wrestled pretty well overall. As far as the final round goes, we wrestled extremely well. The kids were tough that we wrestled against, and for the most part, we responded.

I expect we'll come out and compete. We all understand the importance of the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The loss is behind us and we chose to remember the eight we won before that as opposed to that one loss.

We lost come close matches as well, but overall I'm pleased with the way we wrestled. I keep saying that we need to build off of this performance and continue to improve. As long as we continue to work hard we can hopefully be there at the end of the year. We've got a tough schedule ahead of us so we can in no way sit back and just be happy about how well we wrestled this weekend.

It's absolutely incredible. If you go back two or three years, those first-round games look a like a Sweet 16 group. I looked at the bracket [Sunday] and that's when it finally hit me how strong this league was this season. The teams that are playing just to get to the quarterfinal round ..
