I like Brian and ordtak

I like Brian, and I don't want to say that the fact that he wasn't outgoing was the reason it didn't work for him here. Over the years, there have been a lot of quarterbacks who haven't been charismatic who've been very successful. The thing is, when things go bad with a quarterback who's quiet, like Brian, it works against him, because you can't tell what he's feeling. People start scratching their heads, and it's tough to rally them.

I suppose I could get disenchanted with Brian with poor results. In this game, people have to stand on their record. He knows that. That's the way it is in baseball. But I expect Brian always to do well. He's smart, he's creative, he works hard and he's got a good team of people around him.

Brian is a good quarterback too, so hopefully Brian will pick up right where Tyler left off. If he runs the offense, he will be fine. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. That's a vintage Brian Gass performance. We've been waiting for that. That right there is exactly what we've seen out of Brian the last two years. We've been waiting on it and Brian has been working at it.

It's going to be a thrill for everyone to see him back on the ice. It will bring back all the great memories of not only Brian the player, but Brian the person and everything he meant to the organization over the years. Talking from experience, it will be a tough day, really emotional. It's hard to focus; you have so many emotions running through your body.

It's a great honor for the Bills and especially our special teams. Brian is the big reason I'm going. If Brian doesn't make the Pro Bowl, then I don't go either.

The Board and Management are totally committed to Brian Smith and the players for the 2006 season, and every possible resource will be provided to ensure Brian's 10th year is a successful one.

It's very big anytime you have all your guys here. You're able to work on different things. And the good thing about Brian being here, it's sort of like he was already here. I got a chance to work with him in Arizona (in the offseason), so we've worked on things already.

Normally, ... I don't read new plays. This is a professional deformation I have. If I'm lucky, I can work for another 10 years. He didn't start because he has just had a long flight back from America, and couldn't have played the full 90 minutes. But when I play with two strikers Brian is always at the front of my mind, because he works well with Andy Cole.

I am very happy that Brian will continue as general manager. Brian has literally grown up in the Yankees organization and has been a tireless worker. He is very knowledgeable about the game and the business of baseball and is extremely loyal. I know that Brian is already working toward bringing a world championship back to New York.
