If the whole thing was here, a lot of teams would be in a lot of trouble. Toledo is really hard to handle here. They played hungry and inspired. They were tremendous. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world.

From start to finish we played a very inspired game. They took some early penalties and we took advantage of them. We just played disciplined. We don't want to go back to Toledo.

Enthusiasm in this game is a tremendous thing. We just have to contain and harness our enthusiasm and also understand that it is part of the growth process to know how to handle success just like you can handle failure. That is what good teams do. You don't make an excuse for winning; you just try to win the next game.

They gave a lot of teams in our league trouble with that. We exploited the trap (in a 75-67 victory March 4). We played to pass out of it and played 4-on-3 from there. They're so aggressive with it, that it's hard to simulate in practice.

The other thing is, I know how competitively hungry they are. They're not here just to be here. They're here to compete hard, showcase their products and support their teams. And they're going to do it on the biggest stage.

They played hard and they played with a certain sense of emotion and perhaps at the be-ginning we didn't match it. They were hungry for that win. When you coach a team that didn't have a good season in the previous year and you're hungry for that win, sometimes that's tough to beat.

We came out focused. Like they say, it's hard to beat the same team three times in a row, because Winlock played us tough the first two times (both Toledo wins). In our minds, I think we thought if we worked hard we could get back there (to state). But I don't think anybody expected us to go 22-2.

Our guys, I think they've played hungry. It's something we can hopefully continue to do. Every game we've played this year, they've played hungry and played like they want to prove themselves.

We were lucky to get the two games in. Both teams played hard under the circumstances. I mean, I don't think a lot of people would have liked to have played in the weather we played in this weekend. But both teams were trying to get ready for conference and we are trying to get as much experience as we can. You just can't control certain things.

Levi had a tremendous game. His energy and his intensity were high. He played with a lot of passion. He inspired us with his play in the first half.

We played so well and so hard for the first three quarters. When they put the pressure on in the fourth quarter, I think that, mentally, we were so tired from having played so hard that we couldn't handle it.

It was such a fluke thing for him the first time. For Kevin to go through a game and not to score is pretty hard to believe. Today he came into the game with a great mind set and he worked hard and he played a tremendous game.

One thing Billy taught me is to know how to handle the situation. I learned how to handle the situation, ... It's hard to know how to handle it.

I would say it's among the most challenging schedules a Toledo team has ever played. We have two Big 12 teams and a team from the Big East. It's a challenge and a real stretch for our program.

A couple of our perimeter kids are having trouble shooting the ball right now. They'll have to shoot better when we play the conference teams. I thought our defense played pretty well the whole game. It's hard to hold a team to 50 points.
