I've not been very ordtak

en I've not been very kind to our kids with the scheduling. We've been tired in a lot of matches. But we've been wrestling Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and that's the same days of the state tournament.

en Thursdays are obviously very popular here at PGE Park, as are Fridays and Saturdays, so from that standpoint hopefully our fans will find the 2005 schedule very accessible.

en We do have a peak deployment strategy that sees more officers on the road on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's a continual study. If there's a change in trend and (officers) do need to re-evaluate where they need to be, they have the statistics.

en I'm tired, but I'm happy I took the tournament. Wrestling takes a lot out of you. I know I have it in me -- I've only been wrestling since I was real little.

en It was a long two days of wrestling. You never know what's going to happen this time of year. We had some disappointments, but basically our kids came out and wrestled well. You need to win this tournament to be anywhere close to winning the section championship next weekend. I'm proud of my kids.

Bowling at different places helps them adjust and feel more comfortable when they get to the state tournament.

en Forest Park doesn't make a lot of mistakes and our kids were pretty tired. We had played matches three straight days and we couldn't get a lot of fire out of the kids. This was also the first full week of school. I think they are ready for a weekend break.

en We were both running on fumes, but it gets you ready for the state tournament. It's tough physically, plus the kids are getting up early for school. The kids are a little tired.

en It's been difficult. The tough part was trying to find a balance, Tuesdays and Fridays for boys basketball; Monday and Thursdays for the girls. And it's nice for our kids to compete for all-conference and conference championships. Our schedule has been difficult to do, and we made it work as best we could. I think all of that paid off today.

en She was wrestling at 112 early in the season. She's only lost to kids who've been to the state tournament. ... The guys are a little bit stronger at times over her. But when they make a mistake, she makes them pay for it. She does a good job of using her balance.
