en We came out and hit some outside shots and that got us going. We had a hard time in the post game during the first half because Lejeune was doubling down and that forced us to hit from the outside.

en We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

en The difference in the game was as simple as rebounding. In the first half we didn't block out. We forced tough shots, but we gave them three or four opportunities. In the second half we owned the defensive glass and that made a difference because we only had to defend for three or four passes and then we forced tough shots and rebounded the ball.

en We were finally able to finish one at the end of the game. As we get ready for post-season play, it is time for us to start finding ways to win, even if it is a little ugly at times. Danielle hit some outside shots and really shot well in the second half. We had some good defensive stops on the other end. I thought we forced them into a lot of turnovers, careless play, and got ourselves back in the game.

en We dominated play in the second half, and Tiffany Martins had some great shots that hit the post. It was a real good showing for us in the second half. Denise Hernandez played an awesome game in the middle.

en Offensively we wanted to get the ball into the post more in the second half. We saw they were doubling down so we were hoping to kick it back out and get some open looks.

en We're so uptight half the darn time. And you can't blame us. We're playing at a level where we had three big games against three great teams and we needed to play hard. en Tina stepped it up in the second half. She hit some big outside shots and forced Fairhaven from sagging as much inside. She had a nice game.

en The first half, those weren't my shots. At halftime our coach said, 'If you don't want to play hard, sit on the bench.' That scares people. The second half, everybody worked hard. We finished the game the way we know we can.

en They expanded their zone and cut down on our jump shots in the second half. They were baiting us to throw it high post and low post.

en Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.
