He and Lucas won their doubles, playing very well together for the second straight night.

en I think the defense had a great outing today. We played fast with aggression and a lot of rhythm. We played real hard. Nobody was slacking; everyone hustled to the ball. I think we are starting to come together as a unit.

en East St. Louis played hard tonight. They played well defensively with their pressure and they made some hard shots. You have to give them credit, they played a good game.

en We've played Carbondale and East St. Louis, and if they played 10 times, they might go 5-5. When you look at the teams that are left, East St. Louis is playing as well as anybody.

en They are quicker than anyone we play. I compared them to East Chicago Central, a team we played at a holiday tournament. They are the quickest team we have played and they are the most athletic team we have played.

en I guarantee you we've not played like a team that hasn't won a Big East game, and the rest of the Big East knows that. It's crazy. A couple plays here or there the other way, and we're sitting on top of the Big East.
