en It's free, and we worked really hard. If you enjoy sketch comedy, you'll like it. It's something to do before you get drunk on St. Patrick's.

en It's less lonely. Sketch comedy is much more fun than stand-up. You can still have a good time when you're bombing in sketch comedy because at least you're bombing with other people.

en I have done a sketch show almost every year since I started in 1975. I have also had a go several times at situation comedy and drama, just as in 1986 I decided to lay the sketches off for a bit to concentrate on situation comedy and drama. I am NOT giving up comedy. I love doing stand-up comedy and characters.

en But at the same time he's more elegant, ... You've got a sly thing going with him that I like. He's imperfect, a little bit clumsy, and jealous and drunk. All of that humanizes the character and makes him very approachable. Everybody in the audience can recognize a little bit of themselves in him; and then everybody roots for you to be the guy he's supposed to be. That's the part of the movie I enjoy the most, all the comedy.

en You know what, it ain't up to Patrick. It's up to the people around Patrick. I'm tired of people talking about Patrick this and Patrick that. If we do our jobs, then Patrick is going to do fine. That's why I believe in him, honestly. Last year we struggled as a line, so Patrick struggled. If we do well, then he's going to do well. So we're not going to put all that pressure on Patrick. If we lose then it's our loss, not just Patrick's.

en Before I put a sketch on paper, the whole idea is worked out mentally. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. en It's definitely sketch comedy and that sort of thing. We just do stuff that makes us laugh.

en He is a fifth-year senior, and he is a leader on this team. He has worked hard on his free throws, and it worked out perfect that he was able to seal the game with his free throw.

en It was a huge hit there, and all of a sudden it was an international hit. I redesigned it at that point. It became more of a play than a comedy sketch.

en There are people who are very faithful to not eating meat on Friday and who would enjoy some kind of meat on St. Patrick's Day because it's tradition. This way, they are able to free their conscious from worrying about doing this.

en Doing comedy for film is always a challenge because you are in the hands of the editor after the fact. I am hoping I can do some more soon, I enjoy doing comedy.
