en It felt good. We played well. We had a tremendous outing from Beau. Beau made under 70 pitches and had a complete game. We were pretty excited about the [EYL] start, and we're looking forward to Friday [against Granite Hills].

en I'm really proud of the way we played. Beau Ballard pitched an outstanding game. We scored a few runs early and made them stand up. We made a lot of plays defensively.

en Before the Charles fight, he fought Jimmy Beau in a main event at Madison Square Garden. He won a 10-round decision, but Beau damaged his left eye. He fought Charles with one eye.

en Beau had a good game. He is a force in there and has been for three years. He is a hard worker.

en Beau pitched fantastic for us. He kept them off balance all game. And some good defense helped him out.

en I tested it with throwing it pretty hard, and throwing a lot of pitches. I felt good. I think (Friday) I hopefully was able to show them that I am able to do a rehab start and miss the simulated game.

en Beau really made some big plays late. He got inside and got 12 rebounds and he made the key free throws down the stretch.

en Beau was the guy who stepped up in that game, and he had a stellar tournament.

en Beau and Daniel did a good job stepping in.

en Beau and Chance both did a great job. They made it through today without allowing an earned run between the two of them. We knew those kids were going to carry us - and they did.

en It's looking good so far. This is my second outing. The first outing felt pretty good, today I felt even better. I'm getting closer. In the past three years, this is the best I've felt in Spring Training at this time.

en It was our most complete game of the season. Our kids played a great game against a very good Granite Bay team.

en I felt pretty good. That's always first and foremost. I was able to use all my pitches. Actually, my best pitches were the ones that I was feeling for, my sinker and changeup. I guess I wasn't getting on top of it. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. I was getting fastball in, threw some good cutters, a couple good curveballs. I was pretty happy with the execution of pitches and the way I felt.

en We've felt good and the past two games we haven't made any errors. We got some pitching and some timely hitting. We really manufactured some runs and played more of our game, so I think we've turned the corner here. We're pretty excited to get back into things right now.
