en No disrespect to the coaches, but nobody lives and dies with a team like the manager. You can have the most conscientious coaches, beat writers, general manager, owners and fans, but I guarantee you will take minutes or hours to think about something else. A manager can't let it go.

en It was a good win and good experience for a lot of players. I've been told that we finished first in the group, which is nice, but wasn't critical. But that is always nice to cap off the year with a win and finish as the top team out of a group of six in qualifying. That's a great accomplishment for our group. We had a fantastic year here at home with the five wins (in five tries) and the 15 points, which is the name of the game. Great year.

en We are in the final and my players have done a fantastic job. We have shown the people that we can beat them. They are a good team with some good players but our players were amazing.

en They're a close bunch of guys. That extends to everyone on the team, the coaches and the manager. It's fantastic. It's like a big family. They enjoy hanging out on and off the ice.

en We've had a pretty good run with some great players and we've probably been a little lucky as well. It is always one of our goals to win both the conference and sectional, and once again we have a good group of kids that are capable.

en Fantastic. I didn't even know that. That's fantastic. Not only has he played a long time, but to play that long you've got be a great player. It's like a lifetime. Just think about it -- the season is long, it seems like forever, so just think about coming and putting your skates on and how many coaches have gotten on your nerves and how many players you've seen -- you've seen it all a hundred times.

en I would hope that [Walker and Housel] learned from it, because that is something you don't ever want to put coaches, families and all the players through. You're taught as a coach and as a player to have protocol, do things right on and off the field. And all of a sudden you got somebody that goes behind your back. It doesn't set a very good precedent for young people. Obviously, it didn't work in their favor too well. They're no longer in their situations as they were. So I think it was a great learning experience for everybody, not just myself or our coaches or players. But the administrations -- they have to be accountable, too.

en It's all about the players every night. We can stand there and tell them what to do, but they're doing it. And all the credit goes to the players and my assistant coaches, Ray Bennett and Mark Hardy. They were fantastic. I kind of struggled on the bench at times because of the pace the game was going, so it's going to take some time.

en Sometimes you feel like you are getting a canned answer. The coaches love these players in many cases and want good things to happen to them and are going to protect their group.
