It is always in ordtak

en So from the 2003 season to the 2004 season we cleaned house. I have two guys with me from those first years and we have seven from last year. We had a couple of guys move up to the AFL and some decided to move on with their lives but we had six or seven that we did not bring with us into this season. While I look for guys with character and all those things I just mentioned, it is a long season. Most guys are use to a 10-week season in college and we play sixteen. Some guys taper down towards the end of the season. That was something we couldn't see in guys when we recruited. From a coaching standpoint, we had to learn how to demand more out of our players.

en It's good that we're struggling. You get to learn. It's early in the season and we're still a young team, and we're still learning from each other. You just have to learn from our mistakes and keep going.

en We have a chance to learn volumes from this. I've said before, this is a talented, but young, team. Hopefully we can learn from this. It's a long season, and I have to believe these players will respond.

en It's awesome. Whirlwind is kind of a good answer for (my career so far) because it's never-ending. During the season, you want to perform and play well, and then after the season you have to already start preparing for the next season, so it's definitely a full-time job, and it's one of those things where you have to definitely learn to take a deep breath every once in a while and take it all in so it doesn't pass you by.

en We didn't make that run like we were earlier in the season. I don't know what it was. It just wasn't there toward the end of the season. We can learn from this and be ready for next year.

en You can't judge a season just by what happened (Wednesday). Everything considered, I think the kids here have had a great season. It's not the end of the world. They're a little bit down right now, but we're just glad to have them here and hope they can learn from this experience.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

en I told our team that it?s a learning process, but we have to learn fast. We have to learn fast, otherwise it?s going to be a long season.

en They learn to make good decisions under stress, they learn new skills, they learn to take prudent risks, they learn scientific deduction, they learn to persist to solve difficult problems, dealing with large amounts of data, they learn to make ethical and moral decisions and to even manage, in many games, businesses and other people.

en After awhile you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love doesn't mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
And presents aren't promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats with you head up and your eyes open.
With the grace of maturity, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on
Today because tommorow's ground is too uncertain for plans,
And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.
After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure...
That you really are strong
And that you really do have worth.
And you learn and learn and learn ....
With every goodbye you learn.

en Ella continued to improve everyday throughout the season. She had a lot to learn but she got much better at being in the correct position defensively and and she started really understanding the plays. She always had a great desire to learn and improve and that kind of attitude is contagious.

en He really emphasized that the stretch run was the most important part of the season. The start and middle half of the season were to find out who could play with who and letting the new guys learn the systems.

en We're going to hustle and we're going to field solidly this season. I believe that we're also going to hit better. We still have some baseball things to learn. Also, we need to make sure that everyone is on the same page this season. We've got great senior leadership on this team. I love all of these kids.

en We're still learning and I see improvement from our last game. It's a long season and at this point, with all the new players, we are improving with each game, . Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. .. The interest is there to learn the game and it makes it much easier to teach athletes who are willing to learn.

en Observe, record, tabulate, communicate. Use your five senses. . . . Learn to see, learn to hear, learn to feel, learn to smell, and know that by practice alone you can become expert.
