To do what they did this week shows that we've got some great young people on this football team. I have so much respect for them. I don't know if I could have done it.

Most teams have to cut down 18 or 15 players and bring eight of them back. So, I think it will be a very competitive game for the most part and I look forward to seeing these young guys play.

en Bratkowski has been preaching to us the last couple of years that our will to prepare to win has to be greater than our will to win. That's what the good football teams do. They out-prepare people. We have to get our young guys' football knowledge up. You don't need to run a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash to do it. We've got to play smart football.

I think because of where we are, where we're located in Seattle, we don't get the TV exposure that other teams get, and a lot of people just don't know what kind of football team we have. en We're trying to find some people and get experience. We're a young football team and we're only going to get better as time goes on and, hopefully, we can get better before the conference opener.

en When you look at the two teams, (the Patriots) have been in more situations like this and they are more experienced than we are. They are a very veteran and smart team, and that's our goal, to get there. What I have to do is get our guys to believe they can be there. I believe we're going to be a better football team at the end of the year than we are right now because each game our young guys get better.

en They're a different defensive team than they've been. We know they're playing a bunch of people, shuffling them in and out trying to find themselves. I just think they're young. When they find themselves and guys get healthy, they'll be the Delaware of old.

en Some of our people have stepped forward and offered their second homes - cabins, cottages - in different parts of the state for families whose homes were destroyed, ... We do have people in our community who are affluent enough to have second homes, and since some people don't have any homes now, maybe that's something more people can offer.

en With our team this year, it was kind of a struggle for us, everyone knows we're a young team, we're up and down. We've beaten good teams and lost to weaker teams here and there and struggled to find consistency. So it's great that we've come this far.
