en He went out to dinner Saturday night and played pool.

en It's so busy, it's like every night is Saturday night. Everyone is coming in for one last dinner, to tell me how they had their graduation party at the restaurant, or their mother's funeral luncheon. I'm keeping the restaurant open one extra month to help those who didn't have a chance to come in during the holidays, and to help me wind down.

en I don't like to keep kids out of the lineup. If they're going to be up here, they need to play. Rochester played last night and have two games this weekend. I didn't use [Campbell] Thursday night and had we played [Saturday] I would have gone with the same lineup.

en Friday's we do prime rib (dinner) and Saturday we do grilled razor clams and oysters (dinner). Everyone seems to love those. They've been a big hit.

en I don't think we played well at all for the whole night. That was a totally different team than the one we saw on Saturday night.

en I'm at a lower level than Teddy, and I'm expected to play a lot more of each game. Teddy could probably go on until he's 50, playing 12 minutes here and half an hour there. By tomorrow night, I'll have played Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Monday.

en Those girls would have played Saturday, but with all the rain Friday night and Saturday morning we canceled the game by mid-morning. I'm pleased with our progress thus far. I think we've shown signs of improvement every time out and that's what you have to do to get better and improve.

en We play them as they come and we don't worry about too much what there rankings are. We weren't ranked and we almost played a really good game against Southern. en The average American out there doesn't give a damn whether they called the press Saturday night or Sunday morning, and they don't care whether they called the Corpus Christi paper as opposed to the White House pool.

en Before we left the hotel Saturday, the kids had a meeting. They committed themselves to playing hard Saturday night. This is the best team I've had as far as playing together. Everybody knows his role. A lot of these kids never played middle school basketball.

en We played a lot better, so that has to be looked at as an improvement, especially over Saturday night.
