I tipped it right off my glove. If I get that, I think it's a double-play ball and we're out of the inning so none of that stuff ever happens.

Not too shabby. Getting out of that first inning was huge for him, because you could see he was nervous, but he got that big double-play ball and then he settled in.

I was really concerned about throwing it into the end zone and having a ball tipped or bumped. I just wanted to get this thing into overtime. We had a dead double-play ball, but we got a bad feed on the throw, and we were actually lucky to get the one out. We should have been out of that inning without giving up any runs. Unfortunately we gave up four.

He's won two games with his glove already. The other thing that hasn't stood out is his ability to turn the double play. He's turned two double plays that a lot of people don't turn.

Jeremy came in with us down a run and proceeded to get out of the jam. The next inning he threw he got a double play to end the inning. He ran into a little trouble there at the end, but still kept his composure and got guys out.

Deep counts and again it's the same thing -- in [the second] inning, he could've gotten out of that one inning with a double play.
