We had a great ordtak

We had a great defensive game. We just can't get the ball in the hole. It's tough to win on the road when you're not shooting the ball respectably.

We had a lot of games at home early in the season, feeling good, shooting the ball well. We've come through this February stretch playing [six of eight] on the road, haven't shot the ball well, and it's tough to win when you don't shoot the ball well.

I thought we hit the ball really well today. (Terry) played a great game, hit the ball well. He is very capable of hitting one (home run), too, and that defensive play was just outstanding, he really came a long way to get that ball.

The second half we did a better job, but it's tough to win on the road when you turn the ball over like that. We kept fighting at the end, but we dug ourselves a hole.

We weren't able to put the ball in the hole. The game lacked flow. We would stop each other on defense. They were able to put the ball in the hole a couple of more times than we were.

Just really being stronger was important for us, and being tough on the inside. A lot of times we were able to get the ball inside in the last game but they would come in, and you've got guys slapping at the ball and everything and we were getting it taken from us. This game, we made sure as soon as we caught it we were ball-tough and that nobody could take the ball from us.

We were really rushing, I felt like, early in the ball game. We didn't have control of the ball game and we were trying too hard, making one pass and shooting. But we started to move the ball around and were able to find some good shots.

When the ball doesn't go in the hole you are not going to win the game. We just didn't do a good job of attacking their zone and we settled for shooting from outside.

She's a great defensive player with great natural ability. She handles the ball and sees the court well. Her shooting is what she needs to work on.

I think we panicked a little bit. George Mason is a great team, and with the way they came out shooting the ball tonight, it really put us in a hole and kind of got us on our heels.

And we're out-rebounding people, so that's pretty good defense. On the other hand, we're not shooting the ball well, so it's tough.
