He was called up ordtak

He was called up to the big leagues at such a young age that I don't know that anybody knows what his ceiling is. He's not going to play every day for us, but we are going to try to use him where we can get some protection out of him. Down the road, I don't think anybody knows what the future holds for him. He might be pretty good.

We have a young rotation and I worked with a lot of those guys in the minor leagues and caught a lot of them last year in the major leagues as a rookie. I feel like I have a pretty good relationship with all the pitchers.

I think Pelfrey is on a quick road to the big leagues. Of course, you don't want to rush a young pitcher, but depending on how well he does in this league, and with the needs they have for starting pitchers in New York, he may find himself in the big leagues as early as this season.

He's a very mature kid. He keeps everything in perspective. He's not looking too far down the road. He understands he still has to do some things before he gets to the big leagues. He's good with the media, he's a good teammate and he's going to be big part of our future. It is so comfortable when you play at home. You have your own locker room and your own routine. It's tough to play on the road. You win on the road with good pitching, a good starting pitching performance. That is what we did not get last weekend in two out of three games. That's the difference. It allows our young kids to relax a little bit and just play.

That kid is coming along pretty good. He runs pretty well for his size. He has a good arm. He is going to improve in the outfield. You'll be surprised. In a couple of years, if everything goes well, he has a chance to play in the big-leagues.

I'm very impressed with the play of the younger players. Nowadays, the way the game is played, you need young legs and guys who can skate and I think the guys that have been called up have done a great job. The future looks good, I think, for this team.

We were doing good running the ball and then called a play-action pass and Will was open at the back -- good protection and a good catch.

We were able to get a power arm on the back end of the bullpen and we were able to get a young player, Maine, who had pretty good numbers in the minor leagues.

I've got two young kids. I don't know what the future holds.

Robbie Coltrane (1950-)

Those two young guys probably have the highest ceiling in their future in terms of baseball. The other guys are going to be good players for us, but Ryan Perry and T.J. Steele have the makings of being real dominant players when all is said and done.

Those guys are the future. I just wanted to go out there and do good. If you can do it, it gives you that much more motivation to play in the big leagues and do well at the big-league level.

We didn't play as well as we usually have been playing, but it's a win. We're on the road. If you can play bad and win on the road, you're a pretty good team.

Donald Copeland

It was called in as a chimney fire with possible extension to the ceiling. It had extended to the ceiling when I got there. There was quite a bit of damage to roof and some water damage.

With a young kid with the kind of ceiling he's got -- if he makes this team, he's going to be a big contributor on this team. He's not going to be a middle-of-the-road or long guy or whatever.
