Today was a lot better. It's good to get a couple of innings and then to come in and talk it over between innings and to go back out and make an adjustment or two. For the most part, we're real close.

The need to get away from it. They're playing too many innings. We've got a gruesome stretch here the next few days. I thought long and hard about it when I went back to the park last night ... I just made a decision that this might make sense.

Back-to-back games kill me, especially when they're hard-fought. So it was good to have a couple of days just to get rested a little bit. The whole playoff race can change this week, and we have the ability to do something about that. These next three games are very important for us.
