I don't recall an early storm this bad, ... I don't think anybody predicted this kind of impact and this kind of heavy, wet frozen snow - there must be a tremendous amount of weight on those electrical lines and telephone poles, because they were just broken like toothpicks.

It was just the worst kind of conditions that you could possibly ask for. The freezing rain building up on the trees, building up on the power lines, and we've had numerous power lines down, along with poles that have broken in two.

People should really just kind of stay in and wait out the storm, if at all possible. The roads will be snow-covered and treacherous. Visibility could be down to a quarter-mile for three hours or more during the heaviest snow late Saturday night and in the early morning hours Sunday.

It's kind of hard to envision it after we haven't had snow. All in all, we're having a snow storm and we're still above normal.

We're only three days in, and it's certainly very nice weather, which is good. But it's a little early to make any kind of predictions as to what kind of a snow year we might have.

It's a pretty big storm system. It's really tapping the moisture from the Gulf and the sheer strength of the storm is leading to really heavy snow.

We're doing site-prep work now. Some of the things like making sure there's adequate communications, things like telephone lines, computer lines, getting our servers to go in there. All of that kind stuff has to be accomplished now, prior to large-scale populations of employees going in beginning in June.

I don't recall a perfect storm like this. We've never seen the kind of increase in raw materials that we've witnessed in the past year or so.

I'm kind of ready for spring, but it's all relative. I would definitely be depressed if I had to shovel snow. In April I was just happy to get out on the golf course a couple of times and not have the ground frozen.

Although Arlene is not at hurricane strength, the storm is predicted to cause heavy rainfall, which could cause flooding.

If we had predicted the damage in advance of what Hurricane Wilma would inflict, based on its wind speeds and path, we would have predicted almost exactly the number of poles that failed.

Apparently there was some kind of electrical problem, and the crew will figure out what caused it. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. Unfortunately it happened just as I was going by the pit entrance, so I pulled in thinking that something had broken. I recycled the ignition and it fired right up. I don't know whether we could have won because my car was really sliding around on the tires, but it was a disappointing finish to my race.
