We just started to ordtak

en We just started to freeze up at home plate. We started to lay back, and we weren't as aggressive. They know what they're supposed to be doing. They just have to rely on their instincts.

en We started out pretty aggressive, then we just didn't attack enough. Central made some adjustments and started plugging the inside. We got some outside shots (3-for-14 on three-pointers), but they weren't falling. You can't fault our effort.

en We started releasing and they (the Vikings) weren't looking for it. At one point they started getting back, but not quick enough. It was like a domino effect.

en Sharif and Hector started to assert themselves. But in that second half we got more aggressive and started making more stops and started scoring.

en They were beating us to balls early, but we started to pick it up. Our forwards started running through the ball and being very aggressive. That allowed us to take advantage of their mistakes in the back.

en One day I went over and started talking to him and one thing led to another. I asked if he'd be interested in sort of helping and maybe get involved in the program. He started tinkering around. One day, there he is with a rake around home plate. He would always say, 'I don't want to step on any toes here,' but he always had great suggestions. It just grew and grew and grew.

en We just started to revert back to our instincts.

en We waited too long to start playing. We kind of sleep-walked through 2-1/2 quarters. Then near the end of the third quarter, we finally started getting aggressive. We started driving the ball, and our defense picked up. We clawed ourselves back into the game.

en I think that as I came back from the D league as a started practicing, I started getting focused and ready to play. I've been going out there working hard, playing hard, being more aggressive and I think that has been the change.

en That was a great momentum changer for us because we really started hitting well after that play. We were certainly more aggressive and confident at the plate.

en They came out in the first half and were just stroking it. We finally started switching up, which was actually what we were supposed to be doing from the beginning but we just started listening to coach ... We were just supposed to be switching up on players and getting out on their shooters and make them beat us from the inside.

en We had a little more of an aggressive approach at the plate and we started putting balls in play and making their defense work.

en I felt like we came out much more aggressive than we have been at the plate. We were swinging at first pitches in occasions and I thought our offense really started putting it together.

en We made some mistakes early out there, but I was happy with the way we battled back later on in the game. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. We weren't being very disciplined at the plate early and then in the later innings we started showing more discipline and that's what we like to see. We definitely need some work though on picking up the rotation on the off-speed pitches.

en We finally came together as a defensive unit and started to put the pressure on the other team instead of sitting back. That really made the difference in the second half. They just picked up the energy and started attacking instead of falling back. That made all the difference. Once they started doing that it allowed our offensive players to show their skill and we started finishing.
