en You almost expect surprises in this type of a race. The skiing was so fast because you had this ice coming out of the sky, making really hard tracks. There isn't a huge gap in the skiing. You couldn't make more than a minute or two on anybody today. So the (good) shooters had a huge advantage, much more than normal.

en After the super G, where I made a costly mistake and still had a reasonable result, I knew I was skiing well. I entered today's race with the intention to attack 100 per cent.

en While other people were off eating turkey I was hitting the slopes and improving my skiing. I made some major changes that have showed up right away.

en Erik has been skiing the last two or three days. We're still going day by day. He has been on the snow every day, free skiing and doing giant slalom. We'll have to see. It is looking positive.

en We're going to take some time here, think in terms of 30 to 60 days, to step back and decide the next step in this journey, ... There's interest among others for various forms of transactions. So we'll have options. We just haven't decided yet what makes the most sense for GM. In 30 to 60 days we'll be ready to try again with something that we expect will work this time.

en It definitely made me take a step back. It humbled me and showed me how much more I needed to improve or mentally maybe I wasn't there. I sharpened up my game. I was really young and I'm still growing mentally and still learning.

en I was rapt with the win. I was never worried. I was only concerned that our preparation just wasn't long enough and he would get tired. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. I believe that was the best he showed so far. That wasn't our best preparation. But unlike some of his other fights, he never seemed to have any real lull. That was a surprise to me and made me feel good. I was very proud of him. He showed a lot of balls. He took a lot and stayed with Gabi the whole fight.
